Why halal meat???

RE: Why halal meat???
Because ancient Muslims were barbarians and their barbaric customs got cemented in ritual. Halal slaughtering is barbaric to the point that even though I've grown accustomed the the general level of barbarity in the food industry, I still won't purchase meats from slaughterhouses that practice it.

Best I can tell you is that a few weeks ago I went to get a kebab from a new place I found.

When I discovered the meat was halal, I went elsewhere (as I would if the meat had been certified kosher).

Yep. Kosher is almost as bad as halal. It's frustrating, because the halal lamb from Sprouts is much less expensive than the non-halal lamb from King Soopers. Still, I won't support excessive, pointless barbarism for the sake of some asshole's superstition.

1. Find out which verses mention this.
2. See context by reflecting over surrounding verses.
3. See context by reflecting over that with the chapter.
4. See context by reflecting that with Quran.
5. Integrate it with the message of Quran and then the place of halal meat that in Shariah explained in Quran and it's wisdom therein (or if you don't believe it's wisdom, at least, find out what it claims is it's wisdom).

Why should I take the trouble? Islam means nothing to me, and it never will.  I don't give a pair of charbroiled ferret's testicles why Muslims eat some meat and not others.  Not only do the intricacies of Islam bore me stiff, it isn't any of my bloody business.  Wanna eat  a cow?  Eat a cow.  Don't wanna eat a pig?  Don't eat a pig.

^You've decided it means nothing to you, but on what basis? That it truly means nothing to you or are you just lazy and don't want search wisdom?

I've read the Quran, in (what I'm told) is a pretty decent translation. It didn't impress me.

There's more wisdom to be found in the works of Shaw, Yeats, and Wilde than in all the 'holy' books ever dreamed up by feverish malcontents who couldn't bear the thought of other people having a good time.

On the basis it lacks an legitimate reason ii should matter

Nope it means nothing that's not laziness it's disinterest as there is no reason to be interested aside your mere assertions that there is wisdom (which it's a pretty fair there is not )

So nice try with this lame tactic but i'm afraid like all the rest this one has failed you
