That's quite a plan you have there.  The lower the bottom, the better the recovery.  Is that how it works?  Maybe get all nine supreme court justices appointed by the likes of the current president.  If it doesn't work, at least we can't say you didn't try.  How did people get so fucking stupid?

Oh wait, this is politics where compromise is always necessary. Maybe everyone else will give up pushing for what inspires them once they see you turning blue from holding your breath so long. You wont get nice things then, either..because their votes aren;t exactly likely to change the outcome of their states current distribution....nor have we shown ourselves capable of getting things done when "the right one" gets the vote or the office.

The only ones making politics harder than necessary are those in power. Because why would they want to lose that power? Power corrupts, and it is most evident in politics.

I'm not going to vote when two times during my lifetime my vote would not have counted because the incompetent Electoral College decided to go against the popular vote to elect whom they wanted instead.

That right there proves voting is worthless.

I know how harsh it sounds..and I know that in the case of whatevs I;m talking to a person who shares most of my concerns..but where we find ourselves today in politics is the culmination of boomer culture.  Its not so much that the board is tilted..as that it has been flipped over, all the pieces have been thrown at the browns..and the room it was sitting in has been set on fire.  

We;re talking about a generation that not only shittified politics to a point that seems beyoind repair..but also did their level best to kill the entire planet, dead..while saddling yours truly with the work of fixing every single fuckup...all the while complaining that I wont back their horses.

LOL, no?  You;re speaking of a minority of a minority.  There;s no mights or maybes in that calculation.  Its a known known.  Thankfully, the majority of that minority is close to deaths door...so all the rest of us have to do..oif we can;t do anything else, is hold out a few more years.

Still, Potter said that his office, which produces detailed population estimates for the coming years and decades, pushed forward its forecast for when the state would switch from having more white people than any other race to having a Latino plurality. 

“We had projected that the Latino population would exceed the ... white population by 2020 and that’s probably not going to happen,” he said.

Based on the new trends, he said, he now expects Latinos to outnumber non-Hispanic white people in Texas by 2022.
