Now why is it Americas political situation has now turned into what sports are. Petty rivalries and seeing the other side "loose"? It sure seems those who support Trump are more interested in seeing the "other side" get upset.

Shouldn't it be America winning is upholding our constitution, maintaining peace and helping ALL Americans?

They spent eight years furious about who was in the 'Formerly White House'. It's not surprising that they don't act any better when they perceive that they have an advantage. It's about about doing what's best for the country with them, it's winning at their petty spite games.

The "us vs them" rhetoric is coming from the right and was started by the right. Conservatism in our species comes from a place of fear of change. Progressives promote inclusion and a wider understanding of humanity. 

The only real closeness between the parties is that one is being forced to play the economic game on the terms of the GOP and that deregulation and "don't tax the rich" started with Reagan. Democrat VOTERS gave up back then and we have only really cared about some elections not every election at the local and state level. That has put our politicians on the left in the position to play the game based on the GOP narrative.

If our voters would speak out every day, and vote in every election, we could control the narrative and win more.
