Well if you want eight years of Donald Trump then sure. He might be out of the Oval Office before then but either way... Hillary 2020 is a sure way for somebody other than Hillary to become president. Hillary is so far right she makes Theresa May look like a liberal. America needs somebody to shift the Overton Window back, away from, insanity, and more in line with every other modern nation.

What qualifies as a "modern nation." People like to use this term (or something similar) to basically mean Western Europe and a tiny handful of other countries and ignore the rest of the world.

I've heard it used that way too. Perhaps a better word is "developed" - in an economic sense - and the USA is such an anomaly among OECD countries. I'd say a country that has universal healthcare for its citizens - something which many* countries around the world have and yet the mainstream of the Democratic Party says is not feasible in the USA (because monied interests stop them) - is modern. If a person doesn't believe access to healthcare is a basic human right then there's something wrong with that person. Hospitals shouldn't be for only those who can afford them and saying so would have been an election winner for Hillary Clinton. But she won't go down that path because she's owned and manufactured by cooperations and Wall Street.

No.  While competent, and certainly anyone would be more competent than the russian stooge who is in there now, she is a lousy campaigner.  She does not instill any sense of inspiration in her side.  Remember, in 2008 Obama came out of nowhere and blew right past her.  Bernie Sanders made a respectable attempt at doing the same thing.  It is time for the Democrats to move on.

They are in roughly the same position now that the republicunts were in in 2016.  They have a large pool of names and one will emerge from the pack.  Sadly, for the republicunts the biggest sack of shit imaginable emerged but that's what happens when you kowtow to idiots for 30 years.  Eventually the idiots get lucky but it isn't as if the WLB was that much different from any of the other fucktards that were running.  He just had a new line of shit.... and Russian backing.

Who knows, maybe the 20 years of Trump (measured subjectively) will make people long for boring, normal politics?  If so, Hillary fills the bill.  But lots of people need something more shiny and messianic.  So lets hope someone slick and inspiring is found to say the things that will get the poor dumb bastards that are being fleeced by the rich to give a fuck.

Yeah, people say developed but what does that mean objectively? It seems to me a cherry picked list of countries.

Hillary would probably lose again. Most Democrats (plus Bernie, who was never one) would beat Trump. I think Hillary and Elizabeth Warren lose to him

She should not run again. Even with all her experience in government, she does not, in my opinion, have what it takes to be a viable candidate. She doesn't get people revved up and wanting to vote. The only reason why she got my vote is because I felt that she was the better of two of the worst candidates I've ever seen run in my lifetime and I did not want the Tangerine Wankmaggot in office.
