RE: New years resolutions
Same as last year: don't make any new years resolutions.
Don’t ask.

None for me thank you.
I used to tell a lot of religious jokes. Not any more, I'm a registered sects offender.

RE: New years resolutions
At the change of the year is a time of 'power'...so the old sayings go. Hence why the whole "New year Resolutions" bit I am thinking.

For me...the question goes something like ...."what do I REALLY WANT in the coming year?"

1. Ride my bike more...(maybe even master it enough to get my open class licence)
2. Love my Badger...(easy one! he isn't that hard to love)
3. Eat what the fuck I want and drink what the fuck I want and not take any notice of "Health Notices"
4. Look like Nigella Lawson and be a 'Goddess of the House' GOTH!!
5. Ride my Bike more
6. Devise a plan for the Badger's Evil armarda of Tanks......WTF??
7. Not take any notice of Politicians...the poor mans' new religion
8. Eat Drink and be merry....and still look like a goddess!!
9. House construction to go through without a glitch.

And of course ....ride my bike more often.

Yup,.... that about does it for me. Screw world peace, send refugees back home to sort out their own mess, take all fundies and drop them off in the Great Sandy Desert (with no water to test their faith in their god), and finally buy enough shares to OWN the World Bank.

My New Year's resolution is to save enough to buy a Velcro wall. And I plan on sticking to it.

RE: New years resolutions
These aren't new year's resolutions... just current resolutions (I don't do the mumbo jumbo to hold my resolve):

Become more attached to my girlfriend,
Try being high for the experience's sake,
Get paid more than I deserve for pre-season fishing work,
Begin my transition the instant i legally can,
Get over my regret and frustration that I didn't begin such transition years ago,
Get out as much as I did last semester, or probably more,
Come to a conclusion as to what to do with all my stuff that i don't want to cart around/can't cart around.
Watch all the movies i own,
Be the epitome of temper control (already takes a huge amount to lose it... but control during it yet needs some work),
Continue to figure out what I wish to do with my life (focusing somewhat on my enjoyment of making people smile),
Expand my options for my future ^_^
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

RE: New years resolutions
1) Find a job that actually has to do with horticulture. I'm sick of working in an office.
2) Lose weight. Banal, I know, but necessary. It goes hand in hand with "get healthier" since I could lose weight while strengthening my asthmatic lungs.
3) Every two months (or more), pen in something new that I've always wanted to and never made time for. IE: go to an absinthe tasting.

I'm sure I have more, but I've only had half a cup of coffee.

  8. Get another tattoo

I shall remember this list and tease you with it this time next year.

I approve of most of your suggestions but could I suggest you get your horsey coloured in rather than going for a whole new tatoo.
