Always have. My only real issue with it is how many readers of SF think that means they can write SF.  It's a genre that seems to attract more wannabe scribblers than any other.

Time travel is one of very important plot devices I will eventually use! This will make my novels go nonlinear!

Most sci-fi seems to be science fantasy. I like my sci-fi to be based on real science. You know, actual science fiction.
