A walk outside

A walk outside
To walk this path is no small task.
Amidst the white bones of this town
A person turned to stone.

A friend I had in him
And stone-carved memories I still have.
Come, walk this path with me

Here he stood, and basked
In the light of his life, and grasped
True love for the first time.

In his eyes resonated all the words she said
And slowly, unconsciously
She ate his heart away.

They walked this path together
And came to a place they had to part
But desperate, without a care
Every piece of his soul he laid bare.

Mortally wounded, in juvenile despair,
He retreated in the shade.

One day, without a warning, she came back.
She took pity on the wounded boy and so
She gave him a sharp blade, to hurt in retribution.
He took the knife and gave it to his own heart,
And bled of a new blood.

Here, his old soul rests in stone
And here I grieve
For the stupid young boy that was me.

"Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.

Fact: Every time you eat a bite of cake, someone gets horsewhipped.

Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses.

Factest: Every time a baby is born, an innocent animal is severely mocked for its physical appearance. Don't be a pleasure hog. Your every smile is a dagger. Happiness is murder.

Vote "yes" on Proposition 1321. Think of some kids. Some kids."

RE: A walk outside
Nice.

Best I can manage at the moment is

Two nuns in a minefield.

Boom boom!
Dying to live, living to die.
