Of the people reporting in on this thread, I haven't seen a shithead yet! And yes, when a shithead shows up, they will announce themselves. I'll wager that they'll just trickle in unannounced and start in. Even with different handles, they will be known by their shitheadedness.

For the record, for those unaware... the "team" opinion (meaning the forum management team) is that under these unusual circumstances, the business-as-usual rule regarding 'not deleting anything, ever' would be waived and anyone's choice to have their posts edited/removed would be respected.

That's the official line.

That individuals may have expressed ire is nothing to do with the the "team".

Let us not forget, Anjele, many of us only asked you "why" in order to understand enough of the problem(s) to be able to consider (with all possible knowledge available to us with which to decide) whether or not we should be jumping ship right along with you as well.  Some even made a point of defending your right to your decision even while not agreeing with it.
