Incase you haven't been paying attention, I've been saying there isn't any evidence, not about to go looking for something nonexistent.

I've been called a rape apologist and a detestable human being a number of timed in this thread, so apparently y'all have seen something I haven't. Im just asking what evidence have you seen that proves a rape occured?

This wasn't a trial I followed but clearly there was enough evidence that the jury of his peers found him guilty. This is what we have to go on. The trial is over. By all means it isn't wrong to call him a rapist since, IIRC, that's what one of the charges was that he was found guilty of.

So, really, I'm not going to go searching for anything. He got a trial and was convicted based on the evidence and testimony presented within.

I'm quite sure his lawyers will appeal so we'll have to wait for that outcome.

How do you know it doesn't exist if you haven't looked for it? 

Because all I have to do is look at why the jurors said they convicted him to know there was no evidence of any rape.

Juror says Bill Cosby's own words led to his conviction

Harrison Snyder, in an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America" that aired Monday, said he believed Constand's claim that Cosby assaulted her in 2004 at his home in a Philadelphia suburb.

And, Snyder, said, the testimony of five other accusers who testified was not necessary for the conviction. "I don't think it really necessarily mattered that these five other women were here because he said it himself -- that he used drugs for other women," Snyder told "GMA."

So this Jurors believes he was guilty because he gave drugs to women who took them of their own free will, remember this was in the 70's, it has NOTHING to do with Constand which occured in 2004. Also in that very same deposition he stated he never had sex with Constand.




So basically the Juror believes he was guilty based on what happened in the 70's, long past the statute of limitations. If the deposition is what broke the camels back, then what actual evidence could they possibly of had?

One of the jurors selected this week for Bill Cosby's sexual assault retrial should be removed for making a comment indicating the TV icon is guilty, according to defense lawyers. They say it shows the juror may not be fair and impartial. A motion filed late Friday afternoon says the man, who was elected as Juror 11, said, "I just think he's guilty, so we can all be done and get out of here," during the jury selection process.

This particular Juror believed he was guilty before the trial even started...

If juror number 11 is removed, replacing him with an alternate could change the racial makeup of the jury. Right now, the main jury panel includes two African-Americans. If the juror, who is white, is replaced with the first alternate, who is black, there would then be three African-Americans on the jury.

You do know what 'honorary' means, right? You do understand that murderous dictators make exceptions of sorts for those who are seen as useful, right? You do understand that 'Aryan' is not necessarily a synonym for 'white supremacist' (except among Nazis and other white supremacists), right?

And yes, I suppose that one can be a white supremacist and not be white; I saw the Chapelle episode. Aside from comedy sketches, however, I doubt you will find much of that among sane non-whites, who aren't on the make in white dominated societies.

Ah so you HAVE done research then, fair enough.

I mean I'm new here, so maybe I'm missing the point to this thread and some of your responses. Your argument seems very much "this needs to be looked into again, because he's a black man who's been convicted due to some sort of white person agenda" which in fairness I understand to an extent (and I get that vibe from any other evidence that you feel relates to this, often features comparison to a white person and a black person in similar circumstances), when the view point should be "This needs to be looked into again, because something has happened that should not be allowed, to ANY PERSON". If something has been done wrong/incorrectly, I would imagine the appeal process would pick that up?

I agree that if that juror became the deciding factor in the Cosby trial, because they'd made their mind up about him PRE-TRIAL, it should 100% be looked into again. Does that have anything to do with race? I really don't know, and isn't really my place to say.

Would replacing him with a Black juror over a white juror make any difference to the outcome? [I mean that answer wholly depends on why that person would offer an alternate view on Cosby; IE if they honestly thought the evidence was sufficient or if they say 'Not Guilty' solely because it's a fellow black person, which would not be a good decision]. And to be fair even then, you would think a person is not selected for jury due to skin colour alone.....but I don't know how that works in the US.

There is a whole lot about this trial I don't know, (I know who Bill Cosby is, but he's not as famous in the UK and we've only had snippets of the details), so maybe I'm very much mis-informed, so I'll do my own research on this.
