Toxic masculinity and sexual assault

I wasn't sure if this should go here or in the science area, but seeing as how toxic masculinity and rape apologia have become increasingly political, here goes.
Toxic masculinity leads to sexual assault more than alcohol
There definitely seems to be a link between alcohol and sexual assault, but it doesn't appear to be the largest contributing factor. A study following 700 college students grouped them into four categories based off of high or low frequency of assault, and trending higher or lower. The groups trending upward reported increased peer support for assault and general increase of hostility toward women.

Like the DKE frat that chanted 'No means yes, and yes means anal.' It's not hard to believe that members of that frat are more likely to engage in sexual misbehavior than a fraternity that chants...well never mind, I can't think of a fraternity chang that isn't misogynist, racist, pro-drunkenness, or so old it isn't painful to listen to.

It's easy to see how lowered inhibitions could make a shitty person shittier...less so how any amount of alcohol turns a person into a rapemonster.... that's a preexisting condition, lol, repeat from the beginning.
I've known alot more goofy and friendly drunks than toxic ones..that's anecdotal (and obviously has something to do with the sorts of people I hang out with)..but probably part of the reason why those assholes stand out in the first place. It's aberrant behavior.. even for a drunk. When those guys get booted from parties..it's by a bunch of other drunks.

Not to mention the fact that when I'm seriously inebriated, I can't get it up. Alcohol does tend to act as a deterrent to arousal.

Unless there's money to be had in toxic masculinity or sexcrime, that's probably not a strong incentive.

I've been pinched and groped by sober men. One time when I was sitting on the examination table I had an doctor rub his dick on my knee while he was looking in my eyes with that light instrument thingy. I never went back for the follow up exam. It's always been sober men thinking with their dicks that seems to be the problem. It's as if their brain suddenly disappears and the dickhead takes over. I donno you guys, I don't know what to say except, THINK. Just THINK with the stuff up on top of your head, not the stuff between your legs.
