The FBI is going to investigate Kavanaugh, although Trump wants to limit the scope and and wants it done in a week.

After watching yesterday Kavanaugh may have a stroke if this goes on much longer so, a win-win.

Not great, but it's better than no investigation at all.

And it buys time to drill in the abhorrent performance that Kavanaugh put on during yesterday's hearing. He is very ruled by his emotions, he clearly doesn't respect the process, and he has a lot of skeletons in the closet that he doesn't want found.

This man is simply not SCOTUS quality independent of any bad behaviors that he may have exhibited during his youth.

Just a reminder: this isn't a trial.  There's not going to be a declaration of guilt/innocence from the committee.  This is just part of the confirmation process.  It's a glorified job interview.

If you don't think his balls are in jeopardy, think again.

Scrotus hung absolutely everybody out to dry in his comments.  He's not thinking about it, he has no message or guidance, he's relying on Grassley, and that's that.  It's not his fault, whatever happens, he doesn't know.  Hilarious, since he was told unequivocally that Bart was the worst candidate and he should pick someone else.

I would fall over in shock if Trump were to do that. It would be too close to admitting he was wrong.  Which is simply not in his toolbox of character traits.
