I don't believe executive privilege was ever asserted. If you can show otherwise, please do so. And the standard is not the absolute number of documents but all relevant documents, many of which have not been released.
Hell, there was a shit ton of documents released the night before committee without giving the senators adequate time to read said documents. Your "not rushed" claim is just bullshit.

Corroborating sexual assault is notoriously challenging because there are rarely witnesses to it. Perjury, by comparison, is easy to corroborate, especially when there are twenty million witnesses as there were on Thursday.

I would fall over in shock if Trump were to do that. It would be too close to admitting he was wrong. Which is simply not in his toolbox of character traits. Bold mine.
You mean to tell me he has more than one character trait? 😂😂😂

You do understand that it's not about quantity, right? The Senate Judiciary Committee only had 4% of his papers. FOUR PERCENT. I don't care if it was half a million documents. The fact that the republicans refused to allow 96% of his papers to be reviewed before the confirmation hearing started, within a reasonable amount of time, is utter fucking bullshit. Republicans allowed in the documents that they wanted in and nothing more. The fact that democrats had to walk out of kavanaughs testimony on Thursday in protest, speaks mounds. Republicans have no morals and they don't give a shit about the rights of women and minorities. As long as they can kiss the ass of their fuhrer-in-chief, they win.

President Clinton released 5,000 documents on Sotomayor. Bush released 42,000 on Kavanaugh.
Any questions?
Just one: why in the world do you repeatedly fail to understand that it is quality over quantity that should be considered when someone is seeking a lifetime appointment to a seat that can set progress made by this country, back 60 years.

When you consider that from day one Rapey McRapeface was a man who had problems with lying under oath, tailoring his rulings depending on the political views of plaintiffs, a severe drinking problem, a lack of knowledge of the law or jurisprudence; even before his rape tendencies were revealed,i it was obvious 82 days was a rush job.

Boru
Boru,
That is true.
I have also started threads about false accusations too. Back in the 1980s there was a famous day care scandal where several employees were accused of molestation of kids, even to the point of devil worship. Turned out to be an over zealous society and untrained law enforcement who blindly believed.
THAT is not what we are arguing now. I have also told stories of falsely being accused myself, not of this, but of throwing a rock at a car in middle school private school. We had a entire field day in the playground. I was standing next to the railing that overlooked the sidewalk/road, about 15 feet up. There was a rock in the road, a car passed it and kicked it up. The guy heard a ding, looked in his rear view, and ASSUMED it was thrown and not kicked up as I saw it. He pulled into the parking lot, went up to the principle, and took his word for it. Stupid me went up to the principle and told him the truth, and he didn't believe me. The principle took us all in to the cafeteria and refused to let us go back out until someone, MEANING ME, confessed. I do know what it is like to have people falsely accuse you. THAT is not the point of why Ford should be believed or why Brett should be believed in this case.
This is a job interview for him. If you own a business even a fast food joint, would you hire someone whom shouted responses at you while you interview them?

I think Crappy's crying is authentic, no, not in that he didn't do anything, but in that he knows he had those blitz's days in HS and college and doesn't want to face the music.
He's crying because he got busted. He's crying because his actions are catching up to him and he genuinely regrets that he's been called out. He thought those days were buried in the past, but that's not how sexual assault works.
He probably feels he's coached enough girl's basketball games and appointed enough women to balance all that out. Besides, all he did was basically what Trump bragged about on the Access Hollywood tape and he got elected for Christ's sake.

Flake says he will not vote for Kavanaugh if the investigation finds out he lied. Of course, I don't know why we need an FBI investigation to figure out that he lied, so who knows if this means anything other than Flake making himself try to sound neutral prior to voting to confirm, anyway.
