No, he won’t.    Good fiction needs to have some originality, variability and consideration for what the readership can be imposed upon to tolerate.

He fails totally in all aspect of decent fiction writing.

He is like a blind wood boring worm groping for spots in society and places of discourse sufficiently decayed and crumbling that even he can insert himself.

Well, some gods are birds. Other gods are tortoises. Some gods still are blue guys with eight arms or half-goat or half-fish. Some gods are worshiped by bacteria. Other gods are worshiped by bees. Still, other gods are worshiped by no one at all and must sit there without identity hungering for mortal attention.

(My opinion-) He's descending into madness. He’s struggling with uncertainty, is plagued with personal demons, and is clamouring for answers and ways to cope. He has thrown himself deeper and deeper into mythology to find it. He’s now lost his way so completely that he can’t see the light of day anymore. I feel like some people around him have had a hand in manipulating this situation through his vulnerability. I feel very sorry for him, and I really hope he seeks some help from a non-preaching professional before he reaches some sort of critical mass.

Like all religious theists, he doesn’t realise that "god" is really just an idealised projection of himself. In his case the barriers have been breaking down, and he’s been granting himself more and more special powers not available to us atheist mortals. He can mind read, he can see dark forces that trick us, he is immune to these dark forces, and he can prove things to be true just by saying he has proven them. His ego is growing to match the projections.

He also has the standard special abilities like knowing what god wants, what he’s going to do to everyone, why he’s doing it, and how he can be excused from all responsibility. These are not so impressive since, as I said, god is just him.

...and once you got him to the point where he has all those powers that make him "cant be wrong" and thinking he knows exactly what god thinks (becaue its what he thinks) and makes him "intellectually superior" and unreachable by reason....then you can easily make him commit atrocities. and he wont lose a single thought.

Him making ridiculous statements like he’s 100% certain that what I believe isn’t what I say I believe shows he has committed to this all/nothing thinking and has lost all sense of balance and introspection.

Interestingly, he is not alone in this. The christian presuppositionalists take the position that everyone knows the christian god is real, they are just in denial. Sye Ten Bruggencate is a prime example of this.

Yeah, he’s a dishonest piece of shit. I think that’s just rhetoric to try and win arguments. I don’t think he really believes that to be the case. If he does, he’s over the event horizon.

From what I understand, MK had a "crises of faith" at some point, changed his mind and is now just doubling down on his Theistic beliefs? If that is true, it comes across as very "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, look I still believe in you!", because I suppose in his mind, if it all turns out to be true and he was one of the atheists crowd, he wouldn't get into heaven or whatever.

It's interesting to note that, if even for a moment, he had that thought of "maybe this is all bull shit?". Looks like he's beyond bringing back around now though, but the real world isn't for everybody. Living a singular, none-life after death, kind of life in which humans are not special but one of many organically evolved species, seems a bit too much to handle, for some people.

Some NEED the idea of an all loving/controlling god, that made them and will love them in heaven when they die, because they want to feel special. They want to "know" that they'll see their loved ones again, even though they won't.

MK, if you're happy with your choices. That's fine. Just know that those of us that are atheist's don't really give a shit and are happy with the real factual aspects of existence. Just stop trying to "bring us around to the good side of the force" because it's 100% not happening.

It's like trying to convince a human being he'll be able to grow gills underwater, and live as a fish. I mean, it's not true in the slightest but "what if it is"
