Who is God?

He is the Lord of the Prophets and Angels, the one they point to in truth and which you aren't to mix the opposite path with his path, lest you equate good and evil, and value both uncleanness and the blessed light at an equal level.

MK, have you ever considered writing fiction - I mean stuff you knew was fiction? I think you would be good at it.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

"The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully." (Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion) Dodgy

This shit again?

Don't you ever tire of writing the same drivel, MK? I mean, are you going for a record as to how many different ways there are to spin the same bullshit?

Theists and even deists often refrain from explicitly defining god, because doing so would subject your specific definition of god to be refuted. It's an interesting tactic I guess but easy to spot. Once we can define god, specifically, we can determine whether or not said god is real.
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.

What I can't understand is how a guy who posts this sort of drivel can manage to accumulate 43 rep points. Huh

God is that which transendates the knowledge of the real, and the love.

The knowledge is the light of the true path.

The real is that which isn't the unreal or the sinister forces.

The love is the barking that you hear from the dog blocking the path.

The light on the path comes from those little solar thingies you buy at the home and garden shop that never seem to give enough light to keep you from stumbling over the trike your kid left on the path.

The dog isn't even yours, fer chrissakes, but that doesn't seem to stop him from shitting in your begonias.

So saith the Lord.
