Say Farewell To An American Icon

RE: Say Farewell To An American Icon
Good riddance. They fucked us over with their appliance warranty plan and piss-poor customer service. They deserve to crash and burn.

As for Sears, I'll just find another source of toilet paper. Someday.

Your local catholic bookshop is a good source.

To be fair it is about adapting and some things should go belly up once replaced with newer technology. We don't use rotary phones anymore either. Coal and oil are one big thing the world could have been off of a long time ago if it were not for the greed of the CEOS.

But yea, the average CEO today still wants to dump all their bad gambling and failures on the tax payers.

It is said the magic ink used to print the voodoo chants on these books of rolling paper will cause brain death sooner but animate the resulting zombie for longer.

It’s too scratchy and leave ink smears.

Well, it's Medicare supplement sign-up season, so I have tons of paper available, thanks to the USPS.

Growing up I always looked forward to the Sears and Montgomery Ward catalogs, well, lets just say I was not old enough to by Playboy.

The editor of the local paper (town w/pop. <7,000) was bold enough to say "Who needs Playboy when we have the Sears underwear models." The lady who responded to that editorial said "Yeah, better some fit young man in BVDs than your pudgy butt."
