I Voted today.

RE: I Voted today.
Headed out now to vote. I like to think of it as cancelling out the vote of one racist/misogynistic asshole.
Seem to be plenty of those around nowadays.

You have the right to staple your nuts to the wall, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Let me see if I understand this:  If wyzas votes for a republican who promises to expand healthcare, it's a bad idea.  But if he votes for a democrat who promises to expand healthcare, that's a good idea?

Double standard much, Bri?

Boru

No double standard. I am pointing out the shell game the GOP plays. They will act like social safety nets will kill red states, hypocritically take the money anyway then gut other things to compensate for what they hypocritically lie and take anyway.

Typical street side Vegas ball and cup scam.

I didn't; stay focused.

You'd have to be blind after 8 years of the GOP trying to undue the ACA to fall for their new claim that they will protect pre-existing conditions. Leopards do not change their spots. And that is just one con they are pulling.

It's a bit ironic that you followed a comment about the lack of compromise with a comment about the ACA.

Trying to stay on topic and using the ACA as an example...
I understand that you think the ACA is good legislation, but I don't understand why you think those that oppose it aren't looking out for their self-interest. If I was a woman that had a hysterectomy or was post menopausal, why would I want a policy that includes maternity coverage? My intent is not to argue the merits of the ACA, but provide another example where it's not unreasonable to conclude that somebody that votes for a Republican is doing so for her self-interest.

Brian does stay on topic. The same two or three topics, over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

I don't think it really matters what you say.

For reminding you what? That the GOP is going to lead us to another Bush Jr crash down the road? Good for you, you go with your bad self, just don't come bitching to me if they keep power, because if they do, that is exactly what will happen.

You are right, it does not matter what I say. That is true, but facts are facts regardless of what I say, and the fact is Reagan's trickle down economics DOES NOT WORK.
