It's a rather large deviation:

Since we know very little about Oumuamua it could be anything. Certainly idea that it might be an alien probe is exciting enough to draw people in believing it to be true. That's why there should be more cameras in space.

Therefore it by itself does not justify investing in more cameras in space. |
