In the media, maybe.

Two weeks ago one of my cousins, a young man of 19, was intercepted by police screaming down a country road after midnight on his Harley. He had his 1.5 year old son along, riding on the tank. Neither one had a helmet on. I think he is a hero. He was doing heart thumps on his son while dashing for the hospital. His phone wasn't working, so no ambulance call. The cops figured this out and escorted him in. Kid's okay, they hope he will grow out of this problem with time.

I got that info from another cousin, one of the county mounties involved.

Yup, that qualifies.

I hear ya. When I was 14, my sister was having an epilectic seizure. My father wasn't there, so I took the car, since my mom couldn't drive. I turned on the 4 blinkers and dashed to the nearer hospital. At some point we were intercepted by cops and they understood (I guess they didn't realize my age) and scouted ahead of us to the entrance of the hospital ER. Phew. they didn't got me.

They wouldn't have made it up there either, who's they... the hero commanders and pilots that risked their lives trusting what those people doing their job did.

"I did it all by myself" is a myth. Nobody ever does it all by themselves. Those pilots had to have teachers long before they made the decision to risk their lives.

Off point. I’d still like an answer to my question, Brian.
