Why Do Republicans/Conservatives Bend Over Backwards for Companies?

RE: Why Do Republicans/Conservatives Bend Over Backwards for Companies?
Just recently on Twitter I got responses from two PR departments of giant corporations for merely telling them worker's pay matters. I hate the fact that someone at the other end responded to me, basically saying I was being too rough on them. Yea, you need to eat, I get that, but the worker isn't my problem, but the pay gap between the low and middle workers and the CEOs. It is sad that far too many cant see that one party has managed to convince workers to vote against their own self interests.

I love it when conservatives pull this crap. They love the free market up and until someone competes with them.

And since when is Sweden a fascist or communist state?

Remember this stupid statement the next time you buy cheap crap from Walmart made in Communist China.

History.  Europeans were serfs for centuries.  This "kiss the ass of the nobles" routine is a vestigial part of that outlook.

Except back in the old days, nobles had a code of honor ("Nobless Oblige") that said they must care for the needs of their peasants. They might or might not take that oath seriously but at least the directive was there.

Not only is there no such directive for modern feudal lords but the opposite is true under Randite ideology. If you're poor, it is your moral failing and you deserve whatever happens to you. The corporate overlords have an obligation to maximize shareholder value and if that means stepping on you, so be it.

To wit:  Check the stock ticker for the day GM made the announcement.  Their stock price shot up because the greedy motherfuckers do not give a shit about "the little people."

And neither does the Orange Shitgibbon.
