If you were accused but were innocent ...

RE: If you were accused but were innocent ...
You;re starting to seem like the kinda guy who ought to stay out of court entirely, if you can.  Wink
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Nothing - can't be held against you in a court of law.

AnythIng - that comes out of your hole, can.

Yeah.

But you don't know me...

In a weird sort of hoping-you'll-understand way, Beccs, I kind of hope you DO get arrested one day.  I look forward to reading the news accounts of how you managed to smuggle the chainsaw into your pre-trial hearing.

I feel ya, just saying that it won't help you to live and molotov another day, is all.

When I still lived in NI, there was a running news story about a bloke who refused to stand for the magistrate.  Under the law, the maximum sentence for contempt is 28 days. On day 28, you go back to court and are given a chance to apologize.  Failure to do so gets you another 28 days.  And so on and so on.

He wound up doing eight and a half months for being an idiot.

I don't fear prison. I in fact enjoyed the limited time I spent in jail. It's a great place to meet new people. It's like a vacation, free food and no work. The time goes by fast if you occupy yourself with something. It's all about attitude, a positive attitude will make it a wonderful experience.
But that is because I'm a religious person who doesn't take life seriously and accepts whatever comes my way. The important thing is to never compromise my principles.

As part of my delving into mysticism, I practice spending extended periods of time in isolation and darkness to reach a new level of mystical experience and vision.
It is in that condition that I discover many inner truths and reality of existence. It is a great and delightful condition which I enjoy and helps me remain detached.

Ewwwwww.  No thx, I like my liberty too much to trade it for some food and a shitty cot on account of how I refused to take the lighter sentence.

Um...........what?

Guilty conscious is the worst pain, don't think so.

Fate put you in prison?

What Royalty?

Calm and serene, yeah right. Thanks for that Mr. Anarchy.

I suppose we all come at it from different angles, is all.  Beyond any principle of my own i just couldn't go to jail..and if i -was- going to jail, I; have to opt for the shorter amount of time.  I got a bunch of heathens lookin for daddy every am when they wake up.  Jail wouldn't work for me or for them. Plus, the wife needs servicing, right? Conjugals seem like they're more myth than reality.

What I'm saying is that I have duties, lol.

Well, it may happen.

Apparently slapping a random dwarf in the street in a good natured fashion and shouting "I 'ates 'obbitses!" is "assault".

And trying to explain that it was fun to the cops counts as "resisting arrest, wounding with intent, and arson (destruction of police property)."
Dying to live, living to die.
