How very magnanimous of him. I wonder how he knows that it was a god and more specifically his god behind the beginning of the universe?

I think it's pretty funny though, considering the 'Hypothesis of the primeval atom' that was the foundation of what is now known as the Big Bang was first proposed by a Belgian Roman Catholic priest.
