[Serious] The Positive Affirmations Thread
#11
RE: The Positive Affirmations Thread
This may not be quite in the vein the thread was meant for, but this still is a series of affirmations, less directed to another person and more to oneself. I have been known to repeat whatever lyrics I remember to myself in times of stress:

And something more in the vein Shell meant:
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies—"God damn it, you've got to be kind."

We are defined not by what we embrace, but by what we despise.

If it were possible for everyone to be on top all at the same time, there would be no need for 3 classes.

RE: The Positive Affirmations Thread
When you have something you're passionate about - doesn't matter what it is - and are bursting to tell someone, don't preface it with, 'This is going to sound stupid, but...'.  Don't.Ever.Do.That.  Don't down yourself or your dreams.  What you have may indeed sound stupid, but so what?  Let it be stupid.  Let it be silly.  Have dreams so big that they're goddammed ridiculous.

They're YOUR dreams.  Don't ever apologize for them.  Ever.
