It was meant to be funny. I now know I failed, but you can definitely scratch that from a list of things I think are inevitable or even think about with any seriousness.

Trump is to the point in this farce of a presidency that he has to throw things against the wall (har har) to see what will stick.
If he is all over the board with everything; he is bound to bring some more people over his way as they will hear what he says now and forget what he has said/done in the past. His method appears to be 'Baffle 'em With Bullshit'. Now he is a friend to the LGBTQ...you can almost hear the gears grinding, telling him to switch to something as far away from his wall plan as he can. I think it's a smart move by Trump. He made his political career on trivializing the positions of the right, and now he will mimic a couple liberal memes to catch all the meme-tards.
And this is, again, why memes fail and why intelligent discourse MUST be the way of the day-- any meme, ANY, can basically be copy-pasted to show new affiliations, and because the positions are so shallow, there's really very little to distinguish a pro-gay-meming-Trump from a pro-gay-meming anything elase. |
