Home Elevator
RE: Home Elevator
I've always wanted a pot bellied stove.
I don't know what other people are like, but I really enjoy playing with fire. :-)

RE: Home Elevator
I was talking to a friend from CT over the phone yesterday and she lamented the fact that we won't be getting together for a visit again until this virus business is over. She was really looking forward to a demonstration of my new elevator. Although she couldn't be here for that, I did the next best thing. I told her to listen via the elevator's emergency telephone while I rode in the cab down to the basement and back up again. She was impressed.  Great

My oil man is coming over to service my furnace tomorrow. He'll be the first person to visit the house since I've had the elevator installed. I'm eager to see his reaction when he comes into the basement. The elevator shaft is just a few feet away from the furnace.  Great

The oil man and one of his helpers were here to service the furnace yesterday. The first thing I noticed when they entered the cellar were not so much some exclamations of surprise at seeing the new elevator, but the sound of the cab descending to the basement. I guess one of them wasn't able to resist pressing the activation button. Neither took a test ride, however. I went down to the basement about half an hour later to get a batch of laundry. Both expressed admiration for my new "toy." Neither of them had ever even seen or heard of a pneumatic elevator before.

There's something wrong with a guy who isn't willing to take a ride on something new.....

I did some cleaning up in the attic last Sunday and got rid of quite a bit of useless junk. I rode the elevator all the way down to the basement and back up again four or five times. I got quite a bit of work done in two hours. It would have taken me days to do the same job if I had to use the stairs.  Great

Sounds like a great job for a little gravity assist. Think

I did some more cleaning up in the attic yesterday and did two batches of laundry. I'm certainly getting my money's worth from my new elevator.  Great
