Don't tell me I should be happy with whatever is in someone's pants just because you think I should be. I don’t think anyone is having any trouble distinguishing it. At this point we were specifically discussing pre-op people. Hence the example I was responding to was something about a man groping a woman and touching a dick. I’m pretty sure that’s quite clearly pre-op.

Snarky? I asked an honest question, and I have read the full thread  .... infact I stated

I had to think about this .... we are all indoctrinated with predjudice ... the best we can do is consider it when confronted with it ...

After considering it ... why should someone pre-empt a persons possible prejudice?

Should someone pre-warn that they have a different racial appearance than one or both of their parents in case the partner is a racist?

 
As far as I understand the original poster is post-op .... with the view that a post-op female should inform a man about her pre-op status ... If that is not the case please explain ....

There’s a lot of different discussions going on within a discussion I think.
There’s been discussion of post op and discussion of pre op. But I don’t think anyone is struggling to tell the difference. People are discussing both circumstances and some people have different views depending on the circumstances and some people see it the same either way.

Personally, I can see both sides. I can totally understand why someone might be upset about not having been told before hand (regardless of pre-op or post-op). I can also agree that (in the case of a one night stand or random stranger sex) a person is not morally obligated to divulge this information unprompted.

I don’t think I can be fully swayed to one side or the other. The only thing I can say with certainty is that if someone outright asks a person if they’re trans before having sex and they lie, I think that’s definitely wrong. Otherwise it seems rather grey to me.

OK  ... looked back and yes Yon sort of meandered  ... but yon and mathilda morphed into an arguement on whether a woman should tell a man they were previously men prior to casual sex, as far as I could see.
