Oh no! It now means that we will get the CG chewbacca in all subsequent SW movies. Another CG replacement until the all actors are CG.

The last two movies had practical Chewies. Mayhew advised the new actor, he didn't do the role himself. Too creaky.

As opposed to "practical". All the characters in Mos's Cantina were actually there. Some animated, but none CG. Whether that actually makes for better pictures or not is a raging debate.
