Never let a good crisis go to waste -- the shutdown fight
September 11, 2025 at 10:40 am
Democrats are lining up behind preventing cuts to Obamacare subsidies, they just can't decide whether to fight for a temporary measure or a permanent one.
Republicans are pretty much opposed to subsidies and Obamacare in principle.
Is this the hill to die on? Is now the time?

Obvious, you say? Surely it can’t be because a Harvard-educated Black man had a successful, scandal-free, two-term presidency that helped millions and millions of US citizens? Because that’s just crazy talk.
