The number of people re-identifying themselves as regards gender or race is such a tiny percentage of the overall population, I can't see it as a serious issue.  No country is going to go bankrupt safeguarding equal rights for these people (the alternative is almost too horrible to contemplate), nor is it going to infringe on the rights of other people.

If you aren’t going to bother responding to the actual evidence I just presented to you on this subject, then I can only assume that you aren’t interested in a serious conversation, and you’ve created this thread to troll.

Can you be a little clearer about what you mean?

Btw .- I am now self identifying as a Native American - as is the rest of my " tribe".....

So, just here to troll then?

Maybe you missed it:

Now, if you’re interested in discussing the actual science, that would be a conversation worth having.

I just did a web search.  There are either 23 or 26 (sources differ) tribe-owned casinos in Michigan. Detroit has three corporate-owned casinos.

So yes, your family could own a casino in Michigan.

Anything else?

You gone and missed the point.

Yes - a trans person DOES " choose".

They, and they alone get to say who they are.

What you, I and society think - apparently means nothing.

Only the individual decides what the rest of society identifies them as.

If this is true - my ascertation that I am Native American should be equally valid.

Unless you have a logical reason otherwise.

Think so?

Bwahahaha....

....

Michigan DOES allow for someone to change their gender - legally.

However - no so for changing one's race.

Where is the outrage?

Soo...you didn’t read any of the three articles I just posted that demonstrates you’re wrong? Can you sum them up? Did you even read the summaries? Do you care if your assumptions are correct or not?

Logic is dependent on facts and evidence. I provided you with a logically sound, evidence-based refutation of your argument. If you refuse to respond to it, I’m going to report you for trolling.

I’ll link to the research for a third time, in case you missed the first two.
