370 cats found at a hoarder residence in Iowa. 176 were captured alive, the rest dead. And critter cams show that there are still more roaming.

The hoarder thing...no matter what's being hoarded is at least a symptom of mental illness.  People fill their homes with so much crap that it's a health hazard and a fire trap.  The animal hoarders are somehow able to live among the filth and the odor.

I tease my sister (who was born and raised in Iowa) about her five cats.  I suppose I should cut her some slack.  

My husband's grandparents where hoarders of things.  There was so much stuff in their house that when they built on a sun room it was like a vacuum that sucked stuff into it and it was very soon filled and unusable for sitting in.  Oddly, there was still no damn room to sit down in the house as new, old junk appeared to fill empty spaces.  It was awful and attempts by the family to clean it up were met with anger and resistance.

My grandma had like 20 cats. They reproduce fast. When they opened up the big road variant to the village, they started to lose numbers.
