When I read the thread title, I thought this was going to be a cutesy video about an over eager playful dog, and an overprotective cat. Then the graphic content warning screen came up. What was up with that dog?

Kudos cat.

In my humble (and flawless, inerrant) opinion, that dog has some kind of douchey fucking owner.
A dog given even adequate love & attention and basic discipline will never attack a child unprovoked.

Yes, the dog sucks!
But that dog sucks because its owner is likely a real piece of shit.

That is not entirely true. I had a dog that was dying from cancer, we took him to the vet regularly but they thought it simply pain from arithitis ( He was a big dog and getting old). It got to the where one day he broke leash and tried to attack my friend. Ever football tackle a Newfoundland border collie mix?
He was never treated mean and was always loved and taken good care of.

Alright. I suppose if the animal is losing it's friggin mind there may be another cause, but I'd wager against that possibility every time. Simply because of the odds.
