I'd be happy if people didn't just blame voters if we get another term of Trump. Because if the Dems can't trot someone out that can beat him, they're useless as a party.

I wish we could blame the party. I really do. However, if you're going to be honest (which I doubt) you would agree that Trump was only elected at the behest of the Electoral College even though Hillary actually won.

I did notice she got the popular vote. Unfortunately at this time that doesn't win elections. It should, but it doesn't. Hillary did a piss poor job, because she thought she had votes in the bag to the point that she didn't even visit the rust belt. Almost like she thought the election was nothing more than formality. And people wondered why like 19% of dems went to Trump. Or that some went third party.

Hillary's loss was Hillary's fault.

Yes, I'm a pub, but party is more relevant for me on the local/county/state level. On the fed level I tend to vote more person than party, so I could vote dem in the general depending on the candidate (voted for Bill C. x2). In 2016 I voted for the independent.

Don't even give me any "wasting your vote" crap.
