I missed this one. Can confirm that Shell and I have had disagreements. As she also noted, I’ve probably disagree with everyone that’s been on the board about something.
As a point of correction, though (
)...I’m not even remotely overzealous in my liberalism, here...mostly because I’m not a liberal in the first place. That probably explains how I managed to disagree with everyone.
I’m actually from a place where the alt right was always the norm. From a family that hides its drops of non white blood in shame, couldn’t bring my girlfriends home on account of brown, began my service cleaning up the ethnic cleansing mess in the balkans, and now live in rural fucking Kentucky, lol.
So, my patience for the sorts of shit I rail against in threads like these is less than zero. It’s not political, it’s personal, lol.
Other than my long-standing hatred of racist shitlords and disappointment in the people who make excuses for them....I’m exactly what people would expect from the Deep South.
Small gov, individual rights, free market, traditional values, American exceptionalism , pro military, pro gun, anti-abortion....the whole bit, lol.
