Me: What you are saying is incorrect. Here is a link to factual evidence.
Them: FAKE NEWS. That news source is BIASED against trump!
Me: He's legit doing _____, and it's creating a large problem...
Them: Well OBummer did ______!! Also - Bengazi!!
Me: trump is creating a lot of problems by doing this...
Them: Snowflake!! Go to socialist Venezuela, you libtard!!

Since Trump has been in office I have removed and/or blocked more people from FB than at any other time.
In a way, I am sort of glad to have found out that some people aren't what I thought they were and they needed to go.
Unfortunately I still keep my lunkheaded brother - fortunately he doesn't post much and when he does my sister, niece, and I call him on his dumbassery.

At work.
I must admit to experiencing the 'Trump syndrom' slightly and I'm in a different country on a completely different part of the globe.
My internal response was bemusement and mild incredulity. Outwardly I simply state that Trump was not a monkey connected in any way, shape or form to me and neither was the American political circuse.
Quite amazing/interesting that aspects of "Left and Right" type of politics reach across such boundaries.
