RE: hopefully back for a while
Drich - I am sorry for your family's loss. End of life care is a difficult experience as well.

Mine is worth at least double that.

You have to have almost hundred kilos of titanium in you to be worth $320.   Your doctors might not have been as honest as they could have been.

Ever machined titanium, genius?

I have.

It's a cunt.

And ever had your work certified as medical grade?

No?

I have.

If you talk scrap prices - yeah - titanium is only about $30 a pound.

But I don' t have scrap implanted.

Sorry for your loss, Drich.

And what new rules? Fuck the rules!

Just kidding, please don't ban me.

6 plates. 29 screws.

Looking at an x- ray it looks like furniture repair done by a 8th grade woodshop student.

Who squeaked by with a D+.

Yeah, but no one is going to reuse the titanium without first melting it down for scrap.   So whatever is in you is only worth as much as scrap if we want to talk about how much the elements in your body is worth.

I doubt they will get recycled.

I am donating my body to the university - and I expect with all the odd bone growth on top of the plates - they will end up in a display somewhere...
