As far as I am concerned, my dad is (a retired) conductor and choir leader who has performed the Monteverdi vespers many times as a young man. One of my dearest possessions is his score with markings from his first performance. So I grew up with these sounds. Whenever I am in Venice, I try to visit his grave at the Frari basilica.

That was some impressive voice control by that singer in the first clip. Seems very hard to do what he did.
I'll give the second clip a listen later when I'm more free.

If you know anything about Vivaldi beyond "The Four Seasons," it's probably this piece, and here it is in an arrangement made specifically for one of the greatest shows on TV today, with Gabe Witcher of the Punch Brothers, and the Tony Berg Players (who appear to be a combination of the standard baroque string and continuo ensemble and an increasingly louder Irish session group):
