Who is Antichrist?

Presumably, when thinking of people who distrust their own government and the UN, there's a high correlation with conservatism, and in the US there's a high correlation between conservatism and religious belief, particularly Christian religious belief, and especially Evangelical Protestant and Mormon religious belief. It is a traditional privilege of minorities to not have to list out all the exceptions to observations about a well-known majority, and taken as written that there are exceptions to the general rule and no one really thinks the observation is supposed to apply to all members of the group under discussion without exception. In the opposite case, the observations are often both inaccurate and intended to reinforce existing oppressive or suppressive treatment. Being a member of a criticized majority that defends the majority on the ground that 'we're not all like that' is almost always a case of obscuring the point.

In the USA we have a Christian Dominionist in the White House and a legislature and court system where Christians are disproportionately represented over their occurrence in the general population. A significant portion of those Christians believe that our laws should be based on their religious beliefs, and in the case of Dominionists, that conservative Evangelical Protestants should be in charge of an American theocracy. But when we complain about that sort of thing, we're supposed to cater to the feelings of the Christians who aren't like that. But if they're not like that, they should feel secure in the knowledge that they're not like that and not try to switch the tracks of the conversation to how they're not all like that. The point is not that they're all like that. The point is that TOO MANY of them are like that.

I was prompted to open this topic when a Muslim member (didn't even know Muslims believe in antichrist) of this forum wrote recently that "Antichrist's reign would be the United States." and "Antichrist is associated with Freemasonry"

That made me think of who else did I notice being accused lately for being the Antichrist? And then I remember seeing some flat earther's books on Amazon that he has a book called "Antichrist: The Beast Revealed" in which, judging by reviews, he accuses Pope of being the Antichrist.

Then in the book series popular with Christians, "Left Behind" series, the United Nations/ secretary of UN turns out to be the Antichrist. And Christians do hate and fear the UN.

So who else have you noticed of being accused of being the Antichrist? Or if you're religious, who do you think is the Antichrist?

The Anti Christ is you or rather a fake messiah. It literally means 'Anti=Not Christos=The christ' But... according to revelation He will claim to be the second embodiment or the second coming of Christ. His job is to unite the world into a singular form of belief and then will focus that mass of people against the remaining jews. which will then trigger divine intervention in the way of in the real second coming where Jesus comes to end it all. 

Who this person will be has been speculated on since Jesus. Some say it was the emperor nero others hitler other still JFK Obama or even trump.

The key is the church and islam. whom ever stands between those two and can unite them no matter what else they do (which will be very moral and very pop culture approved) is the guy. In this the church is described as a whore for selling out (like the pope claiming there is no hell/no need to repent) So look for a well like well loved religious leader who bring everyone together with compromise to then turn on anyone different to obliterate them. (like a world wide Nazi party) if your in your good if not then imagine what the nazis did but successfully on a world not just western europe scale.

He will "miraculously" emerge from a traumatic brain energy anew with a cunning and charisma that the world has never seen, and then begin spewing his "Biblical Christian" heresy and of gospel of collectivism to the masses.

The Bible says there will be many anti-christs and you are just one of that many. As for the main anti-christ that will try and fool the world into believing he is the second coming of Christ no one knows yet but those Christians who stand with Jesus will know him when he arrives.

Muslims -especially Sunnies and Shiites- do believe in the antichrist, were you living under a rock or something? It is one of the very very well known things about Islam.
At the end of prayers -which are 5 as most Muslims think and believe based on the Hadith-, Sunni Muslims would say:

"اللهم اني اعوذ بك من عذاب جهنم, ومن عذاب القبر, ومن فتنة المحيا والممات ومن فتنة المسيح الدجال"

Which is literally translated to:

"God; I seek protection in you from the torture of hell, and from the torture of the grave, and from the trial of life and death, and from the trial of the antichrist".

The antichrist was never mentioned in the Quran, instead the end days in the Quran would come silently, people would would be caught out of guard..in other words there is no indication or a warning before the end days.

Wow, that is interesting. So I'm the Antichrist, but does that mean that Jesus will be coming soon? Or there were also other antichrists in the past? Like could you tell me was Prophet Muhammad also an Antichrist?

There's another candidate for the Antichrist. And that is Paul the apostle. Why? According to some Christians it's because he was anti Jesus: Jesus said to people to obey OT laws (as Jewish messiah apparently would do) while Paul said "Nah, fuck that shit."
