This book is offered to you for free because no publisher would dare publish a book that told the truth.

Publishers tend to publish those books likely to make money.  For most publishing decisions, 'truth' isn't generally part of the equation.

So, rather than declining the book because of truth, I think publishers might reject it because it's a stinking pile they'd lose money on.
