Climate change is not being reported as an immediate existential threat though

  I agree.  And there are many other reasons why other than the ones I mentioned.  It is also well known that scientists have been fired or had their grants threatened or have had grants to the universities they work at threatened for coming up with the "wrong" answer.

Well if there’s evidence that green house gases will escape the earth’s environment too quickly for the heat to compound like he’s describing I’d like to see it

it’s probably out there but like I’ve said I’ve had that same concern and haven’t seen it addressed so there it is in my head

  And you are unlikely to see it addressed for the reasons I've given.  But there have been scientists who have talked about it. One was on some TV show about human caused global warming hosted by Bill Nye.  The science guy.  Maybe you saw it.  In it, Arnold Schwarzennegger was acting as his therapist.  In one part of the show, Bill Nye when to talk to some ex-college professor.  The professor had been studying the issue for about 15 years.  What he decided to do was quit his tenured professorship and start preparing for doomsday.  Which according to him would happen in about 20 years.  Which may or may not be the case.  He would know better than me.  But I myself give it 35 to 50 years at the outside.

I guess I could go find what the mean free path for methane is, and then figure out how long a given amount of it will leave the atmosphere. You know what, my curiosity has been piqued. I'll go look a bit. Might not be back before the edit window closes, though Come on, redpill, pony up some facts to prove your point, before I get back!

  From what I remember hearing, methane has a half life of around 20 years.  Which means that any methane that is around now, half of it would have transformed into just plane ole CO2 in 20 years.  But as my graph showed, there are ever increasing amounts of it being released.
