Striking your children in front of people is practiced by so many in Saudi Arabia. Beating the kids with slaps, punches and pushing against objects is practiced widely.

Back in the day in Saudi schools teachers used to strike us students all the time as both punishment for certain acts and simple angry explosions towards the children. I was slapped on the head and beaten with a stick. That was the routine until I reached high-school and it became physically ineffective.

We can understand the brutal conditions that lead many Saudies to carry on crimes like the Kashoggi killing, or the destructive behavior we saw from Saudi forces in Yemen.

Oh grow up. Physical abuse in school by teachers was de riguer when I was growing up. So was fucking sexual abuse. And domestic abuse continues to be a problem. You are not special in this regard, Nor is it any sort of revelation that this kind of shite is rampant is SA. Grow a pair and deal with it. Don't expect "the west" to ride in on a white charger and fix your domestic problems. Do it for yourselves. We had to. Why can you not? I know why. It is because you are still subservient to that stupid religion and are not permitted to do so by that religion. You have willingly taken that yoke of superstitious nonsense upon yourself and that yoke forces you to fear rejecting the excesses that necessarily go with it. Thus you appeal to "the west" to fix it for you.

Well, fuck off and fix it for yourself. We had to and it was not easy. But we did it for ourselves and if you don't, if you rely on outsiders to fix it for you, then you will simply fall right back into it no matter what any external agency might try, whether they succeeded or not. 

Be under no illusion. Nothing will change for you for two reasons...

1. As long as you remain subservient to the superstitious nonsense, this will persist.

2. Nobody can make you rid yourself of that subservience. You have to do it for yourself.

In effect, you are saying that you don't like these shackles, can you in "the west" give me a new style of shackle more pleasing to my eyes. And that is plainly stupid.

You are on your own. If you want freedom, then you will have to earn it on your own merit.  You are on your own. Determine your own destiny. 

In no way can "the west" somehow impose whatever values we may have upon any other nation. Nor have we any responsibility to do so. Nor would you thank us if we were to do so, somehow.
