It's funny -- 99% of the time - people recieve "guidance from god" that generally is profitable - frequently at a cost to others.

The 1% that get advice that causes to give all their worldly posessions to help the poor are generally thought of as nutcases and other assorted lunatics.

One of the most commonly used attempts to convert people is to threaten that they are not only wrong, but so wrong that they will regret it one day or it will be "too late" by the time they see the light. It's just a fear tactic. I'm rarely convinced by such things. If you want to convince me there is a god and I should obey him, I'm going to need you to give me lots of money in his name. I might suspend disbelief for a sugar sky daddy, but not just a sky daddy. Sorry, Mys.
