.... She's waiting for "bi-partisan support" of her partisan impeachment before she sends it to the Senate. Yeah - sure Nancy.... That'll happen about as soon as Christmas becomes a national holiday in Iran....

The fact that the number of actual socialists in Congress is unlikely to be pushing the double digits (and that Nancy Pelosi ain't among them) aside, Pelosi fails to recognise that the barbarians are WINNING. And, in the Senate, they have all the cards. Hell, the fact that Boris Johnson's Tories won by such a wide margin despite the fact that they've been bungling Brexit for the past three years and Boris has demonstrated himself to be even less competent than Theresa May is really making me think that describing the victory of barbarism in the past tense may be more accurate

Given the British election was a choice between a buffoon and the face of anti-semitism I'd say it was a step back from the abyss, at least as far as could be achieved.

I think she knew the repubs werent going to allow witnesses or documents in the Senate trial, so they could use the excuse "no evidence" as an excuse not to impeach. I think those reports that came out the last week or two about Trump and others inolving Ukraine were leaked to the press by Pelosi, which is smart, make the evidence public and take away the " no evidence" defense. However Trump took the headlines with a controversial assassination.
