Interesting commentary on this old broad who still hangs onto some of my hippie ways from the early 70s.
My best friend and I have discussed that we (women of a certain age) tend to be quite accepting of things that others are too set in their ways to even entertain.
Be cautious with how broad the brush is that you paint us old people with.
We'll be needing no 'OK Boomer' response either.
Not saying all old people do one thing. I think I can safely say most, though. Glad to hear there's some seniors on our side.

Side?
Really?
That's the damn problem.
Your stereotyping helps nothing.
I was on 'your' side before you even knew there was a side to be chosen.

I changed my registration to Democrat recently when I renewed my driver's license. I've been voting D for awhile, so this just made it official.

Apparently I've gotten on your bad side. I apologize for that.

You have just revealed yourself. No need to apologize for showing what you are.

Well, you don't live in the UK. I had to go look that organization up, btw.

Apparently, a significant number of Democratic voters in Texas, the Carolinas, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Virginia, Utah, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Alabama think so. Warren lost her home state. Look for her to drop out and endorse Biden.
Your next president is going to be 79, 78 or 74 years old when he takes office. Let's hope they all choose healthy running mates.

He seems to have come in fifth place in the 2020 Iowa Caucus... Only Buttigieg, Sanders and Warren managed to reach the 15% threshold in Iowa. One of the claims was "People aren't going to eventually magically gravitate to Bernie in large numbers" yet it was Sanders who came in first place.
I am curious: do people still serious believe the "no change" candidate will be Donald Trump?
Yeah, there was a bit of a hurdle for Biden at the start, but Biden looks like he's pretty much just guaranteed the nomination for himself because, despite what you and I wish was the case, voters love Biden (as much if not more than Bernie) and trust him more as a leader who can get things done and defeat Trump. I understand it's going to probably be a contested convention at the end, and perhaps Warren will be backing Bernie up eventually, but Biden is now virtually unstoppable and has it in the bag.
I wasn't completely correct in my assessment, yes. But pretty close.
ETA: Bernie really fucked up with the black supporters in the south. Granted, he didn't have much of a chance with them, but he could've worked better on trying to understand where they're coming from. You aren't going to get black voters in the South voting for you if you're just going to talk at them. Understand and acknowledge the idea of racial privilege and subconscious racism instead of bragging to them about how you're going to end racism (I think black people laugh at the notion of a white person saying that, no matter how well-intentioned). That or be like Biden, be good at telling stories and talking to people instead of at them. I don't care if you think Biden' a bullshitter, doesn't change the fact that Biden just knows how to interact with them better than Bernie.
