Gym Talk

Thinking of trying my first barre class tomorrow if this cold I might have doesn't stop me. I used to not go for group fitness, but these classes change things up a lot, so I don't get bored as easily.
Anyone else trying something new, want to talk about a favorite workout, etc.?

Can’t be of much help, as all I do is run. When I was still playing serious rugby I did free weights, but that was forever ago.

Oh, so that's how it's spelled. My wife goes to fitness classes, and she told me one of them was, as I heard it, a bar class. I thought drinking a few might get me to the gym. She likes the varying routines and working out in a group.
I do calisthenics and weights a few times a week. I hike, pack, canoe, or work on the property every chance I get.

Ive been working out twice a day 6 days per week, I do intermittent fasting and eat high protein low calorie low carb no sugar diet. Lost 15lbs in 2 and half weeks.

Maybe I should do more upper body. Lately, I’ve noticed some weakness in my arms. It’s like I did that push up last year for nothing.

It's been a while since we talked, so long in fact, I must refer to gym as james.

Yeah, I've found the variety really motivating, not so much the group. It's barre, like in ballet, but it really might as well be bar, as it refers to the bar you use to stretch.
I miss canoeing. My mother and father moved from the lake they lived on where I would canoe. She passed soon after, and I don't know what happened to the canoes.
We have a few acres we work too. The plan is to get them to a state that requires minimal work.
