Sorry DNC, but I'm not going to vote for your corrupt asses that rig an election against the only guy willing to actually fix our country.

At least Trump is doing something on trade, which is one of the reasons I support Bernie. Biden's plan is to make things 2016 again, where health insurance premiums increase on the working middle class in moderate and red states that don't want to expand medicare/medicaid. That's not the solution to our healthcare problems.

You fuckers put Biden in there, and I'm staying home again.

I voted for Bernie in 16 in the primaries. I was for him this time too, up an until he started talking about Castro and Cuba. I am a pragmatist. Because of the way he framed his argument about Castro, while he wasn't wrong, we are still talking about a old white GOP whom, for the past 40 years has used old cold war slurs anytime someone questions wealth. Bernie could have made a better argument about democratic socialism, than to point to an authoritarian like Castro. He should have instead been pointing to our free western allies who provide health care and cheap to free college. He shouldn't be pointing to a dictator. Warren framed her arguments better. She made it clear she was not out to end the private sector, but to put a leash on it, like the FDR New Deal, high tax on wealth, regulations, and investment. Bernie wants that too, but he screwed up recently by talking about a dictator.

If he were to win the nomination, the GOP would bombard the airwaves with "communist" images of China, Russia, and Cuba. So if you don't want to give Trump 4 more years, you still have to think strategy. Giving Trump 4 more years will actually create more conditions that would lead our open and free society to collapse. Trump loves authoritarians, he wants to be an authoritarian himself. Biden does not want to be an authoritarian.

We do not need purity tests if we are going to put Trump out of office.

We do not need a repeat of 2016.

And the other thing is, if you voted for Obama, then and are unwilling to call him a corporatist, do know that Bidin was his VP for 8 years.

You realize that you just applied a purity test to Sanders, right?

Four more years of Trump it is because once again the DNC has gone with a bad candidate who will lose .Pat yourself on he back on how "mature" you are while Biden is stuttering out his concession speech.

What the hell? Is Biden perfect? No, but it is also stupid to expect and Obama or JFK every 4 years. And regardless of party, Republican or Democrat, politicians are humans, not super heros. They only win if they have support.

I made the same damned argument in 16 about Bernie, and mind you I was rooting for him back then. EVEN IF, EVEN IF, he had won the nomination, and Presidency, and not Trump, he'd still be stuck with the same GOP that obstructed Obama for 8 years.

Stop looking for a super hero. Change is bottom up, not top down. And right now, the biggest threat is not Biden, or Bernie, but TRUMP!

When you have Mitt Romney vote to convict Trump, and even now saying he'd support Biden over Trump, that says a lot.

PICK YOUR BATTLES! NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR DIVISION.

I don't see Bernie getting the nomination at this point. But if he were to manage to pull it out, I WILL VOTE FOR HIM.  At the same time, I will still also be concerned about his Castro comments damaging him. I am going with Biden because he does not have that baggage. Bidien isn't perfect either. The GOP is going to pount him on Hunter.

For the second time, I’m not voting for Biden in the primaries. I’m a Bernie supporter.

So it won't matter much if we get a better candidate in, if they're still bad enough to make everything still categorically worse by the time we're out. Remember, we have Trump now because Obama didn't do a good enough job, and people really didn't want more status quo.
And DNC choose a bad candidate to back and even before that the Neo Liberal policies Joe was all for lead to rise of people like Trump

Yeah, it's gotten worse ever since FDR left office. although I'm pretty sure even Ronald Reagan would raise an eyebrow at how far right the republican party has come.

Yeah, it's gotten worse ever since FDR left office. although I'm pretty sure even Ronald Reagan would raise an eyebrow at how far right the republican party has come.

Reagan got taking down the Soviet Union right, and did it with fanese, not a sledge hammer. He took them down without starting WW3. That was a good thing. But he fucked up most certainly by giving big business everything they wanted by starting union busting and deregulation. That part of his legacy was bad, and America has suffered ever since.

When we talk about the history of that office, regardless of party, there are very few Lincoln's, FDR'S, JFK'S or Reagan's. Now when I say that, I am not talking about party or policy, but the "it factor".   Obama had that "it factor".  "Trump doesn't have that, but he does have a "Jerry Springer" factor. We don't need that in politics.

My point is, nobody should be pointing at Bernie or Biden to have a repeat of 2016.  The only enemy right now is Trump.
