Mandatory vaccinations
In Australia there has been a debate over mandatory vaccination of children

We may find ourselves having to comply to mandatory vaccines one day

I'll leave it there, let people just give there thoughts to the question of mandatory vaccinations...

A lot of these debates get really heated, people easily become self righteous and indignant, so just try keep your cool. We ain't changing any policies between us

I didn't get polio when I was kid. Missed out on a great opportunity for some serious pity. I remember being bussed to a different school with my class and lining up for a shot. No clue what was happening or why. I wish the MMR vaccine had been available sooner.

Know what you mean.  I think I'd have got much farther in life if I was covered with smallpox scars.

The cousins are, of course, anti-vax. When I asked them how many kids they're willing to lose because of their paranoia one mom said "God will give me all the children I need to carry on." Quantity over quality, even in human lives.

Mandatory Vaccines create herd immunity, protecting the most vulnerable populations who cannot get vaccinated for health reasons. Most people who are against vaccines aren't science literate enough to form an educated opinion.

If I refuse the vaccination..does that mean that people have to stay six feet away from me forever?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
