Why 'Science' tries to separate the beginning from Evolution!
#31
RE: Why 'Science' tries to separate the beginning from Evolution!
“Science is for this world, for the use of man. It is perfectly candid. It does not try to conceal, but to reveal. It is the enemy of mystery, of pretense and cant. It does not ask people to be solemn, but sensible. It calls for and insists on the use of all senses, of all the facilities of the mind. It does not pretend to be 'holy' or 'inspired.' It courts investigation, criticism and even denial. It asks for the application of every test, for trial by every standard. It knows nothing of blasphemy and does not ask for the imprisonment of those who ignorantly or knowingly deny the truth. The good that springs from the knowledge of the truth is the only reward it offers, and the evil that results from ignorance is the only punishment it threatens. Its effort is to reform the world through intelligence.” (Robert G. Ingersoll, Myth and MiracleRead
"The world is my country; all of humanity are my brethren; and to do good deeds is my religion." (Thomas Paine)

So, we have a thread titled, "Why science tries to separate the beginning from evolution." Okay, sounds interesting. I mean, I have a pretty good idea why these are regarded as separate things, but I click it because I'm curious and want to see what this person has to say.

Uh ... <scratches head> ... yeah, it turns out that he had absolutely nothing to say in line with what the title promised. Literally nothing. Instead there is this wild-eyed fantasy story with zero connection to science, to anything that even resembles science. And it gets worse, for it also doesn't have any intelligible connection to the theory evolution—or even to "theory" as understood in science. This benighted claptrap extends the meaning of "wrong" to a degree that I have never encountered before. Honestly, not even Answers in Genesis gets evolution or science this wrong (which had set the bar for "wrong," until now).

What a fucking disappointment.

Anyway, let's try to resurrect this possibly otherwise interesting point. Why in science do we separate "the beginning" from the theory of evolution?

False. Even if you modify that to say, "Religious people don't like science," it would still be false.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

realization that it needed to do something QUICK to survive was imperative!
So it made itself into an amoeba with an I.Q of 324!

It realized how hungry it was- but couldn't see where the floating foodstuffs were, so it had an idea, and after deciding that it should
form a mouth to eat it, and fins to propel it to it, that FIRST he needed to SEE it- so he worked FURIOUSLY for a few minutes forming
 the first crude eye.
Then he reproduced himself many times!

Then they came up with an idea of making a mouth, and a set of fins, which enabled them to finally scarf down some
foodstuff, and open the first Fast Foodstuff chain for all the other cells.

So, if I'm interpreting this accurately, you seem to believe animals (which is what you seem to have made the first amoeba into) formed before there were any plants for them to eat.

In science we separate the beginning from the theory of evolution for the same reason we separate Physical chemistry, organic chemistry and quantum chemistry from each Other - so we can specialize and more quickly further deeper understanding of different facets of the very same underlying natural phenomenons.

Can you truly be so profoundly ignorant that you would think your stridently moronic rhetorical question can possibly solicit anything but uproarious laughter?    If so, then for your own good Shut the fuck up, trash can your bible, and get a real education.

Like all morons totally blinded by the Bible, you Use such elements of what you conceive to be science that you imagine you’ve graspEd the very same way any totally blind man uses a lamp post, for support, not illumination.

Wait'll they let me post PICTURES!

Um yea, here is the problem with your argument, NOBODY is claiming this is how evolution happened.

Sorry someone sold you this BS. But this is not what evolution claims.

Seems Mad has separated himself from sanity.
