The true believers soldier on.

As if the media doesn't always downplay the white extremist connections of many high profile cases, the Las Vegas shooter come to mind. There was a 2006 FBI report stating that white supremacist groups were infiltrating law enforcement, and the fact that this former police officer felt comfortable enough to try and make a citizens arrest despite witnessing no crime, the prosecution refusing to make any arrest and referring to the killing as a justifiable homicide, the police lying about the details to the mother of the victim, all this while attempting to cover the whole thing up.

Be in denial all you want, but anyone with any ounce of common sense can see that this situation is a result of racial bias.

As for the removal of the video from twitter, twitter removes what they consider racial inflammatory content all the time, a person I follow had the below video deleted off his account because apparently it was in violation of the rules.

And, of course, the Daily Boulder made the exact same caveat I’ve tried to emphasize, that the ID isn’t positive. And your rebuttal is “they took the original post offline, therefore, it must not be him.” Maybe it’s because they implied a level of certainty they don’t actually have that made it less legally defensible, and therefore opens them up to a potential libel threat, something the Daily Boulder avoids by pointing out it is ambiguous and there’s been no confirmation either way.

Seriously, arewethereyet actually made a better stab at trying to rebut the claim than you, and I don’t even actually disagree with her arguments. And frankly, I don’t expect to actually agree with Huggy Bear very often, but they look similar enough that I think he may have a point.

Sure they have to avoid potential lawsuits and we know people make indefensible ones and win on the thinnest of ambiguities . I know right agreeing with Huggy is just weird . But he makes a fair case .

Speaking of ID's not being positive..it's uncertain who these dipshits thought they they were id-ing, or what crime that person committed. One of the them claimed to have recognized him from a video in the police report. Said there was a string of burglaries. There weren't. He recognized him, because he was involved in a previous investigation of Arbery.

They're on to their fourth prosecutor now. The one with no knowledge and no preconceptions of the case asked to be recused.

Is that fucking it? People not picking up the picture story as quickly as you'd think (a point I explained isn't so improbable as you might think), the GAFollowers article being deleted without explanation (which could be because they realised that this opened them up to a libel suit because they claimed it was a positive identification, something the Daily Boulder avoids by pointing out that it's not conclusive), and now a crypto-racist jab (complete with some... antiquated ebonics) at Huggy Bear about black people thinking all white people look alike? Seriously? I'm so white that taking regular hot baths is the only thing keeping my skin from a deathly pallour and even I think the guy in the mugshot and the guy in the Klan photo look alike. Once again, even arewethereyet at least tried to point out some differences, and even then, she conceded that the differing angles could just be screwing up the perspective. This is like the scene from The Newsroom where Jeff Daniels is debating Arizona's immigration policy and the people he got are so stupid that he has to argue their side for them because they're too fucking dumb to do it themselves.

At least when Huggy Bear decides to defend some idea that's totally fucking stupid, he at least tries to actually defend them. He may defend them in some very stupid ways, and his sources may be easy to cast into doubt, but he's at least not this fucking lazy.
