Did I pick a false religion with a false God? See, these two questions of yours contain similar assumptions that should be challenged. You would have to provide evidence—but not in this thread—which demonstrates that X is indeed false. However, the challenge does not end there, as having good reasons to reject X (Christianity, God) does not provide good warrant for accepting Y (Pastafarianism, FSM).
