It is well known that outbreaks of viruses get a second wave of spreading, we saw what the first wave of Corona did to the world, but would it hold against a second one?
I already said in my first topic with the first wave that humanity did spell lots of blood, and took tyranny for granted:
https://atheistforums.org/thread-60638.html
Will we see modern humanity meeting its dark deeds ? the dead in Yemen, Syria and elsewhere did not get a piny to help them, they are even brutalized by the Saudies, the UAE, Russia, all under the eyes of American government that did nothing to help, or greedy Europeans who took a piece of these crisis.
Would we see a second wave that would bring this corrupt dark system to its knees?
Will we see the flu next year? a flu that according tot he cdc has a .03% chance of death, that is responsive to several medications, that rarely effects the very young and is little more than the flu to anyone one under 60. They also say vitamin D deficient are susceptible as vitamin d helps with lung health

if it comes back? meh.. wear a mask wash your hands and face go back to work.

I think in the case of AtlasofWinter is would be - coronoaphilia.
The sad thing is I can see where he’s coming from. Just not why he thinks this is somehow a matter of one region vs another when it’s clearly the species As a whole that’s the issue.

if it comes back? meh.. wear a mask wash your hands and face go back to work. Um, where exactly are you getting your stats? Because according to the CDC page that you linked to, at the top of the screen (and you don't even have to scroll down to see it), there's a Total Deaths counter and a Total Cases counter, and the numbers work out to a mortality rate of about 6 percent, roughly 200 times larger than your estimate.

And masks well effective will not stop a second wave

I don't know why he (or anyone else) bothers to pretend that it's not as bad as it is. He's simply okay with how bad he knows it is.

THIS is how it works, people.
https://i.stuff.co.nz/national/health/co...-community
102 consecutive days without a single case. Then four cases and BOOM - lockdown.
If you take this kind of thing seriously, it really does work.
