A few months back I estimated what I would owe on my next Internet/cable bill and paid but didn't realize it would be under a dollar short.
Got a bill and knew if that balance was left they would hit me with late fees so I logged on to pay the shortage. It wouldn't accept a payment for less than a dollar, even though that's what I owed. I had to keep playing with numbers till I finally had to send them five bucks to clear the balance due that was something like 89 cents. I didn't even have the option of paying 'balance due'.
